JOE ISIDORI
After graduating the Culinary Insitute of America, to which he had won a scholarship, Chef Joe was appointed chef de cuisine at Nemo Restaurant in Miami Beach, where he spent four years with his mentor, Michael Schwartz and master sushi chef Shingo Inoue. At Pacific East in Amagansett, Chef Isidori dreamed about returning to the Hamptons one day to steer his own ship.
At 25, Isidori was executive chef for the Trump Organization, launching restaurants from New York to Florida. In Las Vegas, Isidori worked with Rick Moonen, creator of Oceana and RM. As executive chef for DJT, Trump’s flagship restaurant, Isidori was named StarChefs 2008 Rising Star and was awarded a Michelin star in 2009. When Isidori moved to New York to launch Harbour Restaurant, TimeOut Magazine celebrated the occasion with this headline: “A Brilliant Chef Breezes Into Town.”
